John Holmlund Nursery is a proud, family-owned and operated wholesale tree nursery nestled in the fertile valley between Portland, Oregon, and the breathtaking Mt. Hood region.
Established in the late 1960s, our nursery has flourished over the decades, expanding to over 600 acres and producing more than a million trees each year. Our long-standing commitment to quality and innovation has made us a trusted partner in the green industry.
Specializing in trees grown specifically for major bare-root markets, we serve a diverse clientele, including caliper and specimen tree growers, container operations, re-wholesalers, and garden centers across the country. With over 200 varieties in production, we are dedicated to growing trees that meet the needs of today’s urban landscapes.
Our selection is carefully curated to include varieties known for their low maintenance, hardiness, resistance to diseases and pests, stress tolerance, and distinctive features.
