John Holmlund Nursery is a family-owned wholesale tree nursery in Boring, Oregon, growing bareroot trees for the Pacific Northwest and customers nationwide.

Established in the late 1960s, our 600-acre nursery produces over 1 million trees annually, including more than 200 varieties of shade, flowering, and ornamental trees.

We specialize in wholesale bareroot trees for caliper growers, container operations, re-wholesalers, and garden centers. Our varieties are selected for hardiness, disease resistance, and performance in urban landscapes.

With a focus on consistency, quality, and modern propagation methods, we grow trees that perform reliably in today’s demanding environments.
